Toimil Marine supplies to Piriou the second crane T-300MT/2 according the BSAH program.

Following the BSAH programme  to provide the French Navy with four Offshore Support and Assistance Multipurpose Vessels  , TOIMIL MARINE has supplied to PIRIOU the second marine crane T-300MT/2 intended for the vessel BSAH “RHONE” , recently launched in Concarneau .

Featuring a 70 meters length and a 2,600 tones full load displacement, the BSAHs can accommodate a crew of 17 and 12 extra personnel. They will be operated by the French Navy within the scope of armed forces and Law Enforcement at Sea.

The T-300MT/2 telescopic crane, with a lifting capacity of 21 tons and 25 meters outreach, will be part of the BSAH equipment , dedicated to carry out several types of missions: support to forces (support and services to submarines, towing of the major vessels of the Navy), protection of persons and property (human lives saving, pollution response…) and support to districts (anchoring and mooring buoys maintenance works, buoys or wreck handling…).

All cranes have been supplied full certified by Bureau Veritas under ALM Class Notations Rules for the Certif. of Lifting Appliances onb. Ships & Offshore Units

In the meantime the first BSAH ‘LOIRE’ , also equipped with a TOIMIL MARINE crane model T-300MT/2 is sailing towards home port in Toulon ( France ) , once the effective delivery of the vessel has been made to final customer , the French Navy .

The contract between TOIMIL and PIRIOU includes a firm order for four equal marine cranes, two units to be delivered within 2017 for “Loire” and “Rhone” vessels ,  and two further units to be delivered within 2018 for ‘Seine’ and ‘Garonne’ vessels.
